Academic Excellence at Invictus
UK Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
🧒 Ages 3 - 4
Our Early Years curriculum is designed to nurture resilience, confidence, and self-assurance in every child. We follow the UK Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework, integrating engaging, play-based learning to develop key cognitive and social skills. With a focus on personalised growth, we collaborate with parents to create supportive environments for each child's needs. Our bilingual programme enhances global readiness, offering language options like English paired with Khmer, French, or Chinese, preparing students for a seamless transition to primary education.
Cambridge Primary
👦 Ages 5 - 10
At Invictus Phnom Penh, our Primary programme follows the globally recognised Cambridge Primary Curriculum, complemented by rigorous Mathematics and language courses. We incorporate the Singapore Ministry of Education's Mathematics Framework, which promotes mastery through a spiral design and the Concrete Pictorial Abstract (CPA) approach. Our well-rounded, multilingual education ensures students are equipped for global success, offering languages like Khmer, Chinese, and French. With a diverse student body from over 50 countries, we foster an inclusive environment that encourages lifelong learning and international understanding.
Cambridge Secondary
👨🦰 Ages 11 - 18
At Invictus Phnom Penh, our Secondary programme follows the Cambridge International curriculum, offering diverse subject choices to help students shape their future paths. Students progress from the Cambridge Lower Secondary curriculum in Years 7 to 9, building strong foundations in literacy and numeracy, to the IGCSE in Years 10 and 11, with subject options like English, Mandarin, Sciences, Business, and more. Year 12 and 13 students pursue the Cambridge A-Levels, preparing for global university admission. Our holistic approach ensures students are critical, creative thinkers, supported by co-curricular and health activities.
Cambridge IGCSE
👨🎓 Ages 14 – 16
The Cambridge IGCSE is a two-year programme that builds strong foundations for post-16 study, especially A-Levels. Students choose a balanced mix across languages, Mathematics, Sciences, Humanities and the Arts, matching strengths and future goals. Learning emphasises enquiry, problem-solving and study skills. Assessment combines written papers with coursework, practicals and orals; all examinations are externally set and marked, with results on the A*–G scale. With guided subject choices and structured revision support, learners gain the knowledge, habits and confidence recognised by schools and universities worldwide.
Cambridge A-Levels
👨🎓 Ages 16 – 18
A-Levels provide deep subject specialisation and a proven route to university. The two-year pathway begins with AS in Year 12 and extends to the full award in Year 13. Most students study three subjects (some start with four) aligned to degree prerequisites—e.g., Mathematics and Physics for Engineering, or Chemistry and Biology for Medicine. Assessment is primarily external examinations, graded A*–E and carrying UCAS tariff points. Alongside mastery, students develop independent research, extended writing and critical thinking, with personalised guidance for subject selection and applications.
Co-Curricular Activities (CCAs)
⭐ Ages 3 – 18
CCAs enrich the timetable and nurture the whole child through sport, arts and clubs. Options include acoustic guitar, football, swimming, board games, gymnastics, dance and Jiu-Jitsu, with seasonal additions for breadth. Led by specialist staff and coaches, activities build teamwork, leadership, confidence and wellbeing, with clear pathways for progression and opportunities to perform or compete. By balancing scholarship with creativity and physical activity, CCAs reinforce classroom learning and help students discover interests, form friendships and grow into resilient, responsible young people.

Words from Our Parents
The most impactful thing for my kids here at Invictus has been their teachers. If my kids struggle or have a hard time with something, the teachers are not only willing to meet us as parents but also willing to work with my child before or after school to spend time really making a difference with my kids. That is most impactful.

I can say Ms. Ika is a good teacher and takes care of my son. If there are any problems, she always reports back to us. I feel safe and comfortable at the school. I can follow up on my son’s progress and what’s going on with him every day.
Sophie, Parent of Tobie Shiraki
One of the best affordable International School in Phnom Penh. This school is a part of an International Brand of school which spread across Southeast Asia. The school is run by foreign management & they applied good education principle & focusing not solely on profit but more in creating a good learning environment. The location is very strategic, situated in the main road and located only a few hundred metres from Independence Monument. A walking distance from BKK area. Highly recommended.
